I don't know the news today. Devastation, mankind has never seen
Unexpected, unaware, they're unknowing, now - running scared
No one predicted, no one could see, the coming of water as land meets the sea
Total destruction, total despair, live's lost, souls bared

Important things that matter,
Are not the things that rich men boast,
These are the things we forget about most,
Taken for granted, sometimes there's no choice

I don't know what to make of it all, dims your belief and you wonder how God
Could do this to these innocent souls,
They harm no one, just left with their soil
Soil for building, soil for their life, soil for their family, families in blight
I don't know how they will rebuild, all I know, they will


Unity of nations, thoughts that we might
Help others, just cause it's right
Help the unfortunate (you can help), in these unfortunate times

Makes you wonder if we did this
ALL THE TIME !!

Forget about the anger, forget about who's right, forget about your money, can't forget life,
Help the injured, find a cure, help mankind, for brotherhood
